Lawrence J. Waldman
Lawrence J. Waldman joined First Long Island Investors in 2016 as a Senior Adviser. In this role, Larry is part of the team that advises high-net-worth individuals, families, and select institutions on the benefits and value of FLI’s investment and wealth management services. He also plays a key role in building and strengthening strategic relationships with professional services firms across Long Island.
Larry is an active and respected leader in the Long Island business community. He currently serves on the Board of Trustees for the State University of New York and holds positions as both Treasurer and Board Member of the Long Island Angel Network. He also serves on the Board of Directors and as Treasurer of the Advanced Energy Research and Technology Center at Stony Brook University. In addition, Larry is a member of the Dean’s Advisory Council of the Zarb School of Business at Hofstra University, where he also teaches as an adjunct professor in the graduate program.
Deeply committed to giving back, Larry is passionate about supporting the Long Island community and regularly dedicates his time to various charitable causes. He is a strong advocate for education and previously served for many years as president of his local school board.
