Bob Coughlan

 

Bob Coughlan co-founded TRITEC Real Estate Company with his brother Jim in 1986, establishing a culture grounded in community, integrity, and family. Together, the Coughlan brothers have transformed the regional real estate landscape, infusing TRITEC with a familial spirit that resonates not only with its employees but also with the broader community. The company approaches development with thoughtfulness and integration, drawing on a wide array of disciplines ranging from financial structuring to community engagement. Over the years, TRITEC has developed millions of square feet of property, earning a nationally respected reputation as a premier project delivery company. It is widely recognized for its market foresight and management expertise, which enables the transformation of underutilized properties into thriving, vibrant communities.

Bob, alongside Jim, leads the development, construction, and management of various real estate projects including mixed-use complexes, apartment communities, retail centers, industrial parks, mid-rise office buildings, hotels, medical office facilities, and research and development sites. He also oversees critical aspects of the business such as site selection, acquisition, design, municipal approvals, financing, joint venture structuring, construction, leasing, and the sales of commercial properties.

Bob holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Northeastern University and attended New York University’s Real Estate Institute from 1982 to 1985. He actively contributes to the community through his board service with the Long Island Housing Partnership, St. Anthony’s High School, Hope House Ministries, and the Long Island Association.
