Billy Haugland
Billy Haugland II is the Chief Executive Officer of Haugland Group LLC, a Long Island–based infrastructure services company with subsidiaries that deliver a broad range of civil infrastructure and energy construction solutions. With a passion for transportation infrastructure sparked at a young age, Billy began his journey in the family-owned construction business by working directly in the field with project management teams. His hands-on, immersive leadership style has taken him through various roles across the company’s subsidiaries, giving him a comprehensive understanding of the business from the ground up.
As CEO, Billy oversees Haugland Group’s diverse portfolio, including Grace Industries LLC and Haugland Energy LLC, leading their growth and success across the Southeast, Northeast, and Mid-Atlantic regions. He also focuses on expanding the company’s maritime capabilities through Haugland Marine Service, which supports the construction community with material handling, logistics, and recycling services at facilities like the Inwood Material Terminal (IMT) and Tomkins Cove. Under his leadership, the company continues to deliver efficient, effective solutions for both land and offshore projects. Billy is a champion of innovation and consistently works to increase efficiency in construction and energy while advocating for workforce development and community impact.
Rooted in Long Island, Billy is deeply committed to supporting local communities and growing skilled labor opportunities in the regions his company serves. He extends this commitment through board service with the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC), the Long Island Contractors’ Association (LICA), and the Long Island Association (LIA). He is also actively involved with the Atlantic Marine Conservation Society and the American Red Cross Long Island Chapter. A graduate of the Energeia Partnership’s Class of 2021, Billy Haugland II continues to drive innovation and positive change in both his industry and community.
